Education in a sustainable world is more than just understanding right from wrong. In our view, it transcends stereotypes and cultural ‘ norms’. Education for our founder Julia de Cadenet is about connecting with sentience and being able to show compassion to those who need us most.
Our programme starts and ends with the dogs and cats. When we run an outreach programme in Asia, or internationally our rescues come with us. Despite everything they have suffered, they still trust us and have love in their hearts. We understand many people are afraid of dogs and cats, so we encourage them to touch ours and cuddle them. We work with the old, the young, the vulnerable and the educationally challenged to teach them what they already know. Cruelty is not cool. A world which can understand that can evolve, and we can do this together with our furry friends.
