Cat Welfare

Cats find themselves victims of the dog and cat meat trade in their millions yearly. Strays are rounded up and sent in packed trucks throughout China down to the southern states and across the borders to Vietnam. They are sold as a delicacy ‘little tiger’ plunged into boiling water to remove their fur and be made into soup.

Our mission is to educate and teach good welfare practices, including neutering the stray animal population. We lobby governments to raise awareness of the cruelty and push for a ban on fur importation and the end of outdated beliefs on the use of cats for unproven health benefits.
